India captain Rohit Sharma has finally opened up on the speculated rift within the Australian team. After the loss in Perth, Australia fast bowler Josh Hazlewood blamed it upon his team’s batters for the team’s overall failure.

A day later, Hazlewood was ruled out of the second Test due to an injury. However, the former India opener Sunil Gavaskar claimed that Hazlewood was good enough to play and wasn’t injured. Gavaskar mentioned that Hazlewood might have been punished for putting all the defeat’s blame on the team’s batting line-up.

It led to the speculations of a rift in the Australian dressing room. Rohit also spoke about the need to adapt in international cricket according to every situation. He claimed that his players are mentally strong and are ready for any situation.
