Rishabh Pant Dismissed By Pat Cummins Mitchell Starc

India National Cricket Team batter Rishabh Pant couldn’t make a bigger impact with the bat in the ongoing second Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. The second game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is underway at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.

Pant was yet again at the helm of things when the India National Cricket Team lost wickets in a flash. The keeper-batter looked in decent touch and played some good-looking shots in his innings. He held the one end and it seemed that he would bail his team out of trouble yet again.

Rishabh Pant was back in the hut after having a decent start

However, this wasn’t the case as Pant was back in the hut after having a decent start. But it’s fair to say that his wicket was mind of ploy plotted by the Australia National Cricket Team that saw him having a lapse of concentration and getting out at a crucial juncture.

Ahead of the delivery that got him out, Rishabh Pant got hit by Mitchell Starc. As Nitish Kumar Reddy called for a quick single, the keeper-batter in the middle of the run was hit by the ball as the Australia National Cricket Team pacer aimed to hit the ball on the stumps.

This saw Pant having a lapse in concentration. On the very next ball, Pat Cummins bowled a delivery at 143.5kph and hit the deck hard. The ball kicked off from the back of a length and caught the India batter in an awkward position.

Rishabh Pant attempted to defend and the ball kept climbing and got big on him. The ball hit the shoulder of the bat and ballooned up in the air, and Marnus Labuschagne completed an easy catch at wide gully.
