One of the notable absentees from India’s practice session was Jasprit Bumrah. As per the reports in the Times of India, it is learned that the fast bowler has been asked not to take part in the session because of his workload, especially with three more games to be played in the series.

Jasprit Bumrah not taking part in the practice session fuels rumors about his injury ahead of the third Test. The premier pacer looked in some discomfort during the first innings of the last game in Adelaide. He also wasn’t at his best in the second innings.

Bumrah was made to bowl just one over, and in that too, he didn’t look comfortable. The fast bowler bowled in the mid-120s and had speeds of 121.2kph, 125.2, 126.6, 125.4, 126.7, and 131.3 before he was replaced by all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Bumrah has been made to work hard in the first two games. He hasn’t received great support from the other end, and hence, it has all been up to him. With the third match still a few days away, it is expected that he might regain his fitness and be available for the next game.
