The second season of the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) witnessed a thrilling auction in Mumbai on Wednesday, as teams bolstered their squads with talented players from across India.
A total of 350 players from 55 cities participated in the auction, with teams vying for the best talent. Notable picks included Abhishek Kumar Dalhor, who was acquired by Majhi Mumbai for an eye-popping ₹20.50 lakh and Ketan Mhatre, who joined Chennai Singams for ₹17.25 lakh.
The IPL-style auction generated excitement as teams like Tiigers of Kolkata and Falcon Risers Hyderabad made strategic acquisitions to strengthen their squads. The tournament, scheduled to take place from January 26 to February 15, 2025, promises to be a spectacle of skill and entertainment.
With the participation of Bollywood celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor as team owners, the ISPL is poised to captivate audiences with its unique blend of cricket and entertainment.
