India fast bowler Mukesh Kumar recently posted a video through his social media handle which has raised a few eyebrows. In the video, Mukesh was seen dismissing Virat Kohli by bowling at a usual fifth stump line.
It is a video from the match simulation that took place ahead of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. While playing for India A, Mukesh bowled a ball at the fifth stump and got the ball to bounce a bit higher than expected.
Kohli, as he has done throughout his career, went fishing at the ball and nicked it to the slip for a catch. The 36-year-old was dismissed and seemed to suggest that the ball had bounced higher than expected.

Mukesh Kumar posts video of dismissing Virat Kohli
Recently, Mukesh Kumar posted a no. of videos through his Instagram account and in one of the videos, he was seen getting the wicket of Virat Kohli. It was a similar Kohli’s kind of dismissal which he has suffered all throughout his career.
Not only this, the Bengal pacer Mukesh posted two more videos as well. In one of the videos, he dismissed Rishabh Pant as he bowled the batter. Pant was looking to flick the ball through the leg side but missed it altogether to see his stumps shattered.
In the last video, Mukesh Kumar trapped the star allrounder Ravindra Jadeja right in front of the stumps through an inswinger that came in to his Jadeja’s pads. He also posted some pictures of himself during his tour of Australia.
Mukesh was a part of India’s squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He travelled with the team for the first two Tests as part of the travelling reserves. But the team management decided to release him in order to allow him to give him some game time in domestic cricket.
Mukesh headed back to India to take part in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the domestic 50-over tournament in India. Yash Dayal and Navdeep Saini are the other two fast bowlers to be released as well.
Growing problems for Virat Kohli
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s problems are not seeming to come to an end after another dismissal to the fourth stump line during the third Test between Australia and India at Gabba. The 36-year-old outside-edged a ball from Josh Hazlewood to the wicketkeeper Alex Carey as he was found fishing outside off stump again.
This mode of dismissal has been quite common for Kohli in his career. His weakness has been well exploited by the bowlers who have constantly troubled him with that off-stump line.
