The white-ball leg of the ongoing Pakistan tour of South Africa 2024-25 will end with the upcoming third ODI. The final match of the series will be played on Sunday (December 22) at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

Pakistan are leading the series 2-0 and will be looking to win the third ODI as well. The tourists won the first game by 3 wickets before winning the second game by 81 runs.

Batting first in the second ODI, Pakistan scored 329 runs thanks to the fifties from their captain Mohammad Rizwan (80), their former captain Babar Azam (73), and Kamran Ghulam (63). For the Proteas, Kwena Maphaka picked up 4 wickets while Marco Jansen claimed 3 wickets.

With the bat, South Africa were all out for 248 runs. Heinrich Klaasen waged a lone battle for the home side, scoring 97 runs from just 74 balls but got very little support from the other hand. Shaheen Afridi picked up 4 wickets while Naseem Shah claimed 3 wickets.
