Former India National Cricket Team all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin was impressed with the way Travis Head was tackling the deliveries from round the stumps ahead of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
Australia National Cricket Team batter Travis Head has turned out to be a headache for the India National Cricket Team batter in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The batter has been at his brutal best and has given hard time to opposition bowlers in all the three games that he has played.
Travis Head is one of the major reasons behind the dominance of the Australia in Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25
Head is one of the major reasons behind the dominance of the Australia National Cricket Team in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The left-hander has hardly put a foot wrong in the series and with the way he has batted, Indian bowlers seemed to have no clue against him.
Head seemed to have little weakness in his batting. The batter struggled a bit against the balls coming from around the wicket. He bagged a low score in the first innings at Perth against Harshit Rana, but it seems that weakness is all set to be countered by him.
Ahead of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, Travis Head was seen shuffling towards off stump to counter that threat. The batter, yet again, looked pretty solid in the nets as he defended the ball well and played some solid shots.

Travis Head is the leading run-getter in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 with 409 runs
But Head has been named in the Australian XI and would be looking to continue his dominance over the Indian bowlers. The left-hander started the series with a brutal 89-run knock in the second innings at Perth. After that, he slammed a magnificent century in Adelaide.
If this was not enough, Travis Head racked up another century in the series as he played an innings of 152 runs in Gabba. The batter is the leading run-getter in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 as he has scored 409 runs in three games at an average of over 81.
