England will be taking on India in the fourth T20I of the ongoing five-match series on Friday (January 31). The game is scheduled to be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

England beat India by 26 runs in the third T20I in Rajkot to keep the series alive. After losing the first two games, the visitors needed to win the third T20I at any cost and they bounced back in style. Batting first for the third game in a row in the series, England recovered from 127/8 to post 171/9 in 20 overs.

Ben Duckett was the top-scorer for England, scoring 51 runs off 28 balls while Liam Livingstone also played a crucial 43-run knock. The England bowlers then came up with a fine bowling display to restrict India to 145/9.

With England now eyeing another win and draw level in the series, we are taking a look at the England Playing 11 for the fourth IND vs ENG T20I.

England Playing 11 vs India – 4th T20I, England tour of India 2025:

Openers: Philip Salt, Ben Duckett

England are unlikely to make any change to their top-order for the fourth game. As a result, Phil Salt and Ben Duckett will be the openers in the England Playing 11 for the upcoming contest. After failing to score big in the first two games, Duckett scored a fine fifty in the third game to give his team a good start.

However, Salt failed to deliver with the bat for the third game in a row. Widely regarded as one of the best T20I openers in the world at present, the right-handed batsman scored just 5 runs before being dismissed by Hardik Pandya. Salt will be desperate to turn things around and score big in the fourth game.

Middle-order batsmen and allrounders: Jos Buttler (c), Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Jamie Smith (wk), Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse

Captain Jos Buttler got the start with the bat but could not convert it into a big score. He scored 24 runs off 22 balls before being dismissed by Varun Chakravarthy. Harry Brook’s horror series with the bat continued as the England star fell to spin bowling once again. He was clean-bowled by Ravi Bishnoi for 8 runs.

Liam Livingstone played a crucial knock of 43 runs for the visitors. He hit five sixes and a four during his knock and will be keen to continue his fine form in the fourth game as well.

Jamie Smith scored just 6 runs in the third T20I but is expected to retain his spot in the England Playing 11. Jamie Overton and Brydon Carse could not deliver with the bat but combined to take 5 wickets. While Carse picked up 2 wickets, Overton claimed 3 wickets and both are expected to be a part of the England Playing 11 for the upcoming game.
