Ravichandran Ashwin finished as the second-highest wicket-taker for India in Test cricket after Anil Kumble and the bowler with the most five-wicket hauls for India. He is also the fastest man to 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, and 500 Test wickets. He finishes as the seventh-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.

He finished with 537 wickets at a brilliant average of 24. His home record is exceptional as he grabbed 383 wickets in 65 Tests at an average of 21.57.
