The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule for the warm-up games ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

India National Cricket Team won’t be playing any warm-up games in the tournament as all the practice games are slated to be played in Pakistan apart from one of Bangladesh, which will be played at the ICC academy in Dubai.

India will be landing in Dubai on 15th February, no warm-up games for England and Australia either

India National Cricket Team will be landing in Dubai on 15th February, and it was reported that they opted against playing a warm-up game due to the ODI series that they played against England.

Apart from them, Australia England, and hosts Pakistan also won’t be playing warmup games. The Steve Smith-led side also are playing the series against Sri Lanka.

The warm-up games for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played between 14-17 February. Pakistan National Cricket Team, instead of the main team, have named three separate Pakistan Shaheens squads for the fixtures.

Afghanistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh will be playing against three teams of Pakistan Shaheens in warm-up games from 14 and 17 February. Apart from this, Hashmatullah Shahidi-led side will be facing New Zealand in the warm-up fixture on 16 February.

Fixtures of warm-up games for the ICC Champions 2025

The warm-up games will be a great preparation for all the teams ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. It will be a great opportunity for all sides to get used to the conditions. Notably, New Zealand and South Africa are already playing the tri-series in Pakistan.

Here are the fixtures of warmup games for the ICC Champions 2025:

14 February – Pakistan Shaheens v Afghanistan, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

16 February – New Zealand v Afghanistan, National Stadium, Karachi

17 February – Pakistan Shaheens v South Africa, National Stadium, Karachi

17 February – Pakistan Shaheens v Bangladesh, ICC Cricket Academy, Dubai

Shadab Khan will be captaining Pakistan Shaheens in the game against Afghanistan. While Mohammad Hurraira will lead the Shaheens against South Africa in Karachi and Mohammad Haris will lead the Shaheens against Bangladesh in Dubai.
