The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) points table has been updated after the second Test between West Indies and Bangladesh at Kingston, Jamaica. Bangladesh made a solid comeback to stun the hosts West Indies and levelled the series.
Bangladesh batters batted splendidly on a tricky batting surface to score 268 runs in the second innings. Youngster Jaker Ali showed his talent to score a counter-attacking 91 off just 106 balls. Shadman Islam and skipper Mehidy Hasan scored valuable forties.

Bangladesh bowlers shine in 2nd Test
Chasing a daunting target of 287 runs to win the match was always going to be big task for the home side. Despite fine efforts from skipper Kraigg Brathwaite and Kavem Hodge, West Indies fell well short of the target.
The home team lacked any support from the middle order as Bangladesh made full use of their quality bowling attack. Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam finished with 5-50 while fast bowlers Hasan Mahmud and Taskin Ahmed picked up two wickets apiece.
Taijul Islam was also adjudged the Player of the Match for his performance. West Indies were bowled out for just 185 runs, thus losing the match by 101 runs. With this result, the two-match Test series ended 1-1.
Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed and West Indies fast bowler Jayden Seales were adjudged the Player of the Series after their impressive performances with the ball.
