This came after Mohammed Siraj removed Travis Head, who was going great guns and slammed a terrific century, after being hit for a six. The fast bowler castled his stumps and followed it up with the aggressive send-off right at the face of the Australia National Cricket Team batter.

After that, Travis Head too shared some words before Mohammed Siraj gestured for him to leave the field. The incident became the talking point of the entire day and now the Australia National Cricket Team batter opened up about the entire saga.

Batting has been going nicely for the last few weeks and it was good to get some runs- Travis Head on his century

Head, who played an innings of 140 runs off 141 balls, also talked about his knock. He said that although it was tough to bat, it was good for him to get some runs under his belt. He elaborated:

“Nice to get a few runs. Batting has been going nicely for the last few weeks and it was good to get some runs. I took my chances; they bowled well; it was a tough wicket and put the guys in a good position. I could if we did the right things. Both sides came in thinking they could dominate, I’m not saying we are dominating just yet, but we are in a great position.”

Head also talked about his celebration on reaching the century. He stressed that it was for his newborn son. He added:

“With the quality of quicks they have, got to take chances, with the field up I was going to take my chances. Played really well in some moments. [on the 100 celebration] A newborn boy a couple of weeks ago, would have copped a bit of stick from the missus had I not done that for Harrison.”

Head, with his innings, put the Australia National Cricket Team in a dominating position as they took a massive lead of 157 runs. After that, the bowlers did their job and picked 5 Indian wickets to leave visitors in all sorts of trouble.
