Iyer, with an impressive average of 47.5, has accumulated 2421 runs from 62 ODIs. This tally includes five centuries and 18 fifties, showcasing his consistency at the international level. During the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup, Iyer was in sublime form, scoring consecutive centuries, including a vital knock in the semifinal, helping India reach the final unbeaten.
His performance in the World Cup saw him finish behind only Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the runs tally for India.
