Anshul Kamboj has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 23-year-old is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pacer.

In domestic cricket, he plays for Haryana. Anshul has also represented India A and India Under-19. In the IPL, he has played for only one team so far – Mumbai Indians.

Earlier this year, the Haryana allrounder became the talk of the town after taking all ten wickets in an innings during the Ranji Trophy game against Kerala. He picked up 10 wickets for just 49 runs against Kerala.

Kamboj became only the third bowler and first since the 1985-86 season to take all ten wickets in an innings in the Ranji Trophy. Overall, Kamboj has played 19 first-class games so far. He has scored 368 runs and picked up 57 wickets. In T20s, he has taken 18 wickets in 16 games.

He made his debut in the IPL in 2024 while plying his trade for Mumbai Indians. Anshul played 3 games in his first season and picked up 2 wickets.

Chennai Super Kings have bought Anshul Kamboj for INR 3.40 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Delhi Capitals began the bidding before the Super Kings joined the race. The Super Kings and Mumbai Indians were involved in a bidding war for Kamboj. In the end, the Super Kings made the winning bid.
