Karn Sharma has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 50 lakh. The 37-year-old is a leg-spinner and a handy lower-order batsman. In domestic cricket, he represents Railways and has also represented Team India in all three formats.

In the IPL, Sharma has played for four teams so far – Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings.

His journey in the IPL began in 2009 with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In his first season, Karn played only 1 game. He did not play any game in the next three IPL seasons before finally returning to action in 2013 while representing Sunrisers Hyderabad.

He was a regular in the Sunrisers Hyderabad team and represented them from 2013 to 2016. He also won the IPL in his final season with the Sunrisers. In 2017, he played for Mumbai Indians and helped them win the IPL. In 2018, he won the IPL once again while being a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad.

He played three seasons for the Chennai Super Kings. In the last two seasons of the IPL, Karn played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Overall, he has played 84 games in the IPL and has taken 76 wickets in addition to scoring 351 runs.
