Australia star Mitchell Marsh has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at a base price of INR 2 crore. The Australia T20I captain is expected to garner a lot of attention in the auction this year.
Even though Marsh has not managed to live up to the expectations in the IPL so far, there is little denying that he is one of the best all-rounders in the world. His journey in the IPL began in 2009 when he was signed up by the now-defunct Deccan Chargers.
In 2011, he joined another now-defunct side Pune Warriors India. Marsh did not play in the IPL in 2014 and 2015 before joining Rising Pune Supergiant in 2016. He played just one season for the side before staying away from IPL till 2020.
In IPL 2020, Sunrisers Hyderabad signed him up before he joined Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2022. Overall, Marsh has played 42 matches in the IPL and has scored a modest 665 runs. With the ball, he has picked up 37 wickets.
