In what has been the latest development as per the reports in the RevSportz, it is learned that India National Cricket Team batter Shubman Gill has been declared fit to play the second Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. The second match of the series between the teams will be taking place at the Adelaide, Oval from 6th December.

The reports also made a massive revelation about the batting position of Shubman Gill as there were a lot of speculations about his place, especially with the heroics of KL Rahul in the first game. It is learned that the young batter will be batting at No.3 in the second Test, which will be a day-and-night match against the Australia National Cricket Team.

Shubman Gill missed the first game of the series due to the finger injury that he faced in the match simulation

Gill missed the first game of the series due to the finger injury that he faced in the match simulation. The batter got hit on the finger while taking a catch in the slips, and things didn’t look great for him; hence, he was ruled out of the opening game in Perth.

In the absence of Gill, Devdutt Padikkal was drafted into the squad and was allowed to bat at No.3. However, he couldn’t make a bigger impact in the match as he bagged a duck in the first innings and then got out on 25 runs in the second essay.

Gill’s return will be a massive boost for the India National Cricket Team going into the series. The young batter has been one of the team’s best batters in the longest format of the game of late and has slammed over 800 runs this year while donning whites for the national team.

KL Rahul will be pushed down the order and will bat at No.6

With Rohit Sharma coming back to the team for the second Test, the reports also claimed that KL Rahul will be pushed down the order. It is learned that the batter will be taking the No.6 spot in the team. Rahul was one of the major reasons behind India winning the first game as he played brilliantly in both the innings while opening the batting.

Rahul, who ahead of the Australia series, was given the middle order role, was yet again forced to open the innings in the absence of skipper Rohit Sharma. The Karnataka batter, however, aced the challenge and showed great Control in both innings.

Rahul being back to the middle order along with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill will make India National Cricket Team altogether a different team. They won the first game of the series by a massive margin of 295 runs and would be hoping to carry on the momentum in the second innings.

Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel will be making way for skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill
