Spencer Johnson has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. The Australia star played for Gujarat Titans in the last edition of the IPL.
Gujarat Titans had to spend big to sign up the left-arm pacer in the last auction. They eventually secured his services for a whopping amount of INR 10 crore after he had registered himself at the base price of INR 50 lakh.
In his debut IPL season, Spencer played 5 games and picked up 4 wickets. Although he could not make a big impact in his debut IPL season, the pacer could earn a lucrative contract in the auction once again thanks to his exploits in the three-match T20I series against Pakistan earlier this month.
He finished the series as the highest wicket-taker, helping Australia whitewash the tourists. In three games, Johnson picked up 8 wickets including a stunning five-wicket haul in the second game.
