India National Cricket Team players, including skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah, were involved in a chat with the Australian Prime Minister. This comes ahead of the second Test between the teams in Adelaide, which will be a day and night fixture.
Ahead of the first second Test against the Australia National Cricket, the India National Cricket Team will be playing the warmup game against the Prime Minister’s XI with the pink ball. The match between the two teams will be played from 30th November ahead of the second game, which will begin on 6th December.
With a couple of days remaining for the warmup game, the Indian team went on to meet the Australian Prime Minister. The PM was seen having a conversation with premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah first, hailing him for his bowling in the first Test and the different bowling action.
Australian PM told Jasprit Bumrah: “Your style is very different from anyone, great effort. After that, he met Virat Kohli in excitement, lauding the batter for his heroics in the first Test in Perth. He said: Hey, how are you doing? Good time in Perth, as if we weren’t suffering enough at the point”.
Virat Kohli, however, didn’t shy away from giving a quick reply to Australia PM. The premier India National Cricket Team batter said: “Always got to add some spice to it.”. The India skipper Rohit Sharma then went on to introduce the Australian PM to the other Indian players.

India National Cricket Team started the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 on high. They came up with a sensational effort with the bat and ball and went on to win the first match by a massive margin of 295 runs at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
India didn’t have a great outing with the bat in the first innings as they got all out for just 150 runs. But Jasprit Bumrah led the 0 charge with the ball as he picked a fifer and helped his team bundle out the Australia National Cricket Team for a total of just 104 runs, taking a lead of 46 runs.

But after that, it was a magnificent effort with the bat by the visitors. Yashasvi Jaiswal (161) and Virat Kohli (100*) slammed glorious centuries and helped the India National Cricket Team set a massive target of 534 runs to chase, which they defended successfully and took a 1-0 lead in the series.
India will be boosted by the presence of Rohit Sharma for the second Test. The opening batter missed the first game due to family reasons and will be featuring for the team in the warmup game against the Prime Minister’s XI.
