India captain Rohit Sharma’s poor form continued in the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne as he was dismissed for another low score. He came to open the innings after batting at No. 6 for a while but the move didn’t work.

In just the second over of India’s innings, Rohit was caught easily at mid-on by Scott Boland as he tried to half-pull a short of a length delivery from Pat Cummins. He was dismissed for just 3 off 5 balls.

After the dismissal, he was severely criticized by social media users for his poor performance. The users blasted him for opening in place of the in-form KL Rahul and asked him to retire immediately.
