Former India National Cricket Team cricketer Vinod Kambli has provided an update about his health after being admitted to hospital. He credited the doctors for saving his life and said that he would be a great inspiration for the people.
In what was shocking news, former India player Vinod Kambli three days ago was admitted to Akruti Hospital due to deteriorating health. The Mumbaikar was diagnosed with blood clots in the brain and it raised a lot of concerns about his health.

Kambli has spoken about his health for the first time after being admitted to the hospital. He said that he is alive because of the doctors and will be doing whatever they will refer him to do. He was positive about his health, saying that people would see him as an inspiration.
“I am alive because of the doctors here. All I would say is that I will do whatever sir (referring to the doctor) asks me to. People will see the inspiration that I’ll give them,” said Kambli as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Dr Vivek Dwivedi, who is treating Kambli, revealed that the former India player was not in a great position when he was admitted to the hospital as he wasn’t able to sit and walk properly.
The doctor revealed that Vinod Kambli was having a urinary tract infection along with electrolyte imbalance and also had low blood pressure. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he explained:
“When he was admitted on Saturday, he was having massive cramps along with fever and dizziness. He was not able to sit and was not able to walk. He was also drowsy at the time of admission,”
“We did all the investigation and after that came to know that he was having a urinary tract infection along with electrolyte imbalance. Sodium was a bit on the lower side, potassium was on the lower side. That was the reason for the cramps. His BP was also on the lower side. We started him on antibiotics.”

Vinod Kambli’s health has been a hot topic since the last one year. The former India player came to notice when the video of him struggling to walk without support went viral on the internet. Recently he was with Sachin Tendulkar at Ramakant Achrekar’s statue unveiling ceremony at Shivaji Park.
He didn’t look in great shape as he was seen clutching Sachin Tendulkar’s hand. The former India captain also is unable to speak properly and this saw many fans requesting the cricket fraternity to help the cricketer.
This wasn’t the first time Kambli was admitted to the hospital. Recently, in an interview, he spoke about the same and said that due to the urine problem, he spent one month in hospital. He said that he was admitted after he collapsed on the ground.
