Shami ended with the innings of unbeaten 32 runs off 17 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 188, slamming 3 fours and 2 sixes. His incredible knock powered Bengal to a total of 159 runs, which at one moment seemed impossible, especially with batters failing to get going.
This was Shami’s best score in the history of the T20 Cricket. Also before this knock, he just had 2 sixes in his career. The pacer, of late, has improved a lot in his batting and would be keen to contribute more to his team with the bat.
