Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja lost his cool after Mohammed Siraj’s wild throw on the second day of the third Test match against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). Ravindra Jadeja exchanged a few words with Mohammed Siraj after being hit by the throw at the non-striker’s end.
Jadeja was not included in the India squad for the first two matches as the team management preferred Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin over him. Washington started in the series opener before being dropped for the second Test. Jadeja replaced Ashwin in the XI after the Adelaide Test loss.

Ravindra Jadeja Didn’t Pick Any Wickets Before Tea Break on Day 2
Jadeja failed to trouble Australia’s batters in the ongoing Test match in Brisbane. The left-arm spinner bowled nine overs and conceded 35 runs without taking any wickets. He conceded at 3.9 runs per over, the most by Indian bowlers in the first innings.
Team India overly relied on Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling. He picked up two early wickets on the day, dismissing Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney. Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj didn’t pick any wickets in the first two sessions. Nitish Kumar Reddy removed Marnus Labuschagne for 12 runs off 55 balls.
They Want to Play a New Spinner in Every Test Match – Aakash Chopra
In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra opened up about Ravindra Jadeja’s inclusion in India’s XI for the third Test. He said that it seemed like India was rotating spinners for each match. He humorously said that Kuldeep Yadav might have played the fourth Test if he was in the squad.
“There were changes in the XI. We were discussing that there would be two changes for sure. One was confirmed that Akash Deep would definitely come in place for Harshit Rana. The second was in the realm of speculation, that who would play, whether Ashwin would play, or either Washington Sundar or Ravindra Jadeja would play in his place,” he said.
“It seems they want to play a new spinner in every Test match. Washi played in the first, Ashwin played in the second, and Jadeja is playing in the third. Kuldeep might have played in the fourth had he been there, and someone else in the fifth if one more spinner was there,” Chopra added.
