India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma had a torrid outing with the bat in the second innings of the ongoing second Test against the Australia National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is underway at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Rohit Sharma, who walked to bat at No.6, looked shaky with the bat throughout his stay at the crease. This was because the Australia National Cricket Team pacers were right on the money and were swinging the ball big time under lights with the crowd too behind them.
Rohit Sharma survived an early chance as well and it was expected that he would cash that and bail the India National Cricket Team out of trouble. However, that wasn’t the case, the captain of the team was back in the hut early as the visitors came under massive pressure.
Rohit Sharma was removed by Australian captain Pat Cummins, who produced a jaffa to send the batter packing. The pacer bowled a delivery that was angling in on a good length on off. The India captain attempted to defend it on the back foot.
The ball went past the ball and went on to hit the top of the off stump and send the India National Cricket Team skipper Rohit Sharma packing. The Australia captain was chuffed to bits as his move to bring himself on just before stumps worked.
