Former India National Cricket Team player Aakash Chopra lashed out at Twitter users for mocking him over analyzing the things related to Indian cricket. He slammed the fans, asking them how many matches they had played at the state level.
Aakash Chopra’s comments came during the Question and Answer session that he held with fans on his X account. The cricketer-turned-commentator didn’t shy away from lashing out at the fans who mocked him over his short international career.

One of the users labeled Chopra as a ‘big failure in international cricket’, and said that he doesn’t have the leverage to talk about successful international players. He said:

Aakash Chopra shut down the fan by telling him that he has not done anything cricket, not even at the state level. He questioned him, saying that he had no right to question a player who represented the country. He added:
“See…you have done absolutely nothing of note in cricket. Not even state-level cricket. But you have the right to comment on a player who represented the country. You are smart enough to get the drift, right?”

In another question asked by the fan, Chopra was asked to share the number of centuries that he has hit in international cricket. The fan asked: “How many centuries have you scored in International cricket ??”

Replying to this, Aakash Chopra attacked the fan, saying that he has hit as many centuries as the number of games played by the fan for his state. He added: “Same as the number of games you played for your state. None.”

Aakash Chopra played 10 Tests for India and boasts a solid domestic record with over 10000 runs in FC cricket
Chopra played 10 Tests for the India National Cricket Team and went on to score 437 runs at an average of 23. He slammed just 2 half-centuries in his career and didn’t play a single ODI or T20I for the team in his career.
Chopra, however, had a solid FC record. The batter amassed over 10000 runs in 162 games at an average of 45. He also slammed 29 centuries and 53 half-centuries. In 65 List A games, he slammed 2415 runs at an average of around 45 to go with 7 centuries and 17 fifties.
