Gambhir revealed this information to the BCCI officials during the meeting in the aftermath of India’s loss in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India’s captain Rohit Sharma and the chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar were also present at the meeting.
The India head coach was confident of Sarfaraz Khan having leaked all the information. The news is likely to affect Sarfaraz’s career and it remains to be seen what action the BCCI takes on the young cricketer.
