Yashasvi Jaiswal showed his superb catching skills to hand India the big wicket of Beau Webster on the second day of the Sydney Test against Australia. Jaiswal was at his absolute best as he flew at gully to take a sharp catch. It prompted a great reaction from India’s captain Rohit Sharma who has opted to rest for this match.
It was a short of a length ball outside off stump but Prasidh Krishna got some extra bounce due to his height. Webster was not expecting the ball to bounce so sigh and found himself in an awkward position to play the ball.
He tentatively poked at it and the outside edge flew to Jaiswal’s right at gully. The Indian opener flew in the air and plucked out an outstanding catch. It was Jaiswal’s second catch of the innings.
